Cancellation and Return Policies

Returns, Refunds, Cancellation & Pre-Order Policy

Welcome to MRC Card Shop. By placing an order through our website, you acknowledge and agree to the following policies regarding returns, refunds, cancellations, pre-orders, and order processing.

General Order Policy

Due to the nature of trading card games, collectibles, limited releases, and high-demand products, all sales are considered final unless otherwise stated below.

We reserve the right to:

  • Limit quantities per customer, household, or address
  • Cancel orders suspected of fraud, abuse, botting, resale manipulation, or checkout circumvention
  • Refuse service to customers attempting to exploit website systems, pricing errors, or allocation policies

    Orders may be canceled at our discretion if:

    • Inventory errors occur
    • Distributor allocations are reduced
    • Fraudulent activity is suspected
    • Payment authorization fails
    • Shipping restrictions apply

    If an order is canceled by us due to inventory shortages or allocation issues unrelated to customer actions, the customer will receive a full refund.

        Cancellation Policy

        Standard Order Cancellations

        Customers may request cancellation of an order before shipment; however, all approved cancellations are subject to a 5% Cancellation & Processing Fee.

        This fee helps cover:

        • Non-refundable payment processor fees
        • Transaction and merchant processing costs
        • Inventory reservation losses
        • Administrative labor and order handling

        The 5% fee is not a penalty and applies regardless of payment method.

        Example:

        • $100 order canceled
        • Refund issued: $95

        Once an order has shipped, it cannot be canceled.

            Pre-Order Policy

            Pre-Order Agreement

            By purchasing a pre-order item, you acknowledge and agree that:

            • Pre-order products are reservations for future inventory
            • Release dates and arrival estimates may change without notice
            • Manufacturer and distributor delays are outside our control
            • Allocations from distributors may be reduced at any time

            We cannot guarantee exact arrival dates for pre-order products.

                Pre-Order Cancellations

                All approved pre-order cancellations are subject to a 5% Cancellation & Processing Fee.

                This applies to:

                • Customer-requested cancellations
                • Orders placed accidentally
                • Duplicate orders
                • Orders using bypass methods or checkout circumvention

                The cancellation fee covers operational and payment processing expenses incurred at the time the order was placed.

                    Allocation & Product Availability

                    Certain products may be subject to allocation due to manufacturer limitations or distributor shortages.

                    MRC Card Shop reserves the right to:

                    • Reduce quantities ordered
                    • Allocate products fairly among customers
                    • Cancel excess quantities
                    • Restrict purchases based on account history, botting behavior, or suspicious checkout activity

                    If we are unable to fulfill part or all of an order due to allocation shortages, affected customers will receive a refund for unavailable items.

                        Returns & Exchanges

                        Eligible Returns

                        Returns are only accepted for:

                        • Incorrect items shipped
                        • Items significantly damaged during transit
                        • Defective non-TCG merchandise

                        To qualify:

                        • Contact us within 7 days of delivery
                        • Item must remain unopened and unused
                        • Original packaging must be included

                        We may request photos before approving a return.

                            Non-Returnable Items

                            The following are non-returnable and non-refundable:

                            • Trading card products
                            • Opened products
                            • Booster boxes, packs, tins, or sealed collectibles
                            • Singles
                            • Graded cards
                            • Digital products
                            • Clearance or final sale items
                            • Food/snack products
                            • Imported consumables

                            Due to the collectible and market-sensitive nature of trading card products, we cannot accept returns based on:

                            • Market price fluctuations
                            • Pull rates
                            • Box results
                            • Buyer’s remorse
                            • Product speculation outcomes

                                Shipping Issues

                                Customers are responsible for ensuring shipping information is accurate at checkout.

                                We are not responsible for:

                                • Packages delivered to incorrect addresses provided by the customer
                                • Delays caused by carriers
                                • Weather-related delays
                                • Lost or stolen packages marked as delivered

                                If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address or failed delivery attempt:

                                • The customer is responsible for reshipping costs
                                • Original shipping charges are non-refundable

                                    Fraud Prevention & Bot Protection

                                    To maintain fairness for all customers, we actively monitor for:

                                    • Automated checkout behavior
                                    • Botting
                                    • Multiple-account abuse
                                    • Payment fraud
                                    • Address manipulation

                                    Orders flagged for suspicious activity may be:

                                    • Delayed for verification
                                    • Quantity adjusted
                                    • Fully canceled without notice

                                    We reserve the right to refuse future service to accounts associated with fraudulent or abusive purchasing behavior.

                                        Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

                                        Customers agree to contact us first regarding any issue before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback.

                                        Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may result in:

                                        • Permanent account bans
                                        • Order cancellation
                                        • Refusal of future service
                                        • Collection efforts where applicable
